Ledrix

For ERP implementation partners

A more structured approach to the source-data work around ERP implementation.

Ledrix is developing a controlled workflow for assessing source financial data, making migration decisions visible, coordinating preparation work and creating clearer validation evidence before go-live.

Source-data workstream

Direction, not current capability

  1. 01

    Source financial data

Establish the condition, structure and agreed scope of the records being considered.

  2. 02

    Readiness and preparation

Surface data-quality issues, required cleanup and decisions before migration activity is under pressure.

  3. 03

    Mapping decisions

Record how source records, structures and agreed transformations should be handled.

  4. 04

    Controlled migration workflow

Make actions, ownership, dependencies and exceptions easier to coordinate.

  5. 05

    Validation evidence

Support comparison, investigation, review and documented acceptance of migration outcomes.

  6. 06

    Implementation and go-live

Bring final readiness, approvals and cutover activity into a clearer process.

Ledrix is designed to sit across the source-data workstream and hand structured, evidenced data to the implementation team.

Practical reality

ERP migration issues often begin before data is loaded

Much of the difficult work sits in the source environment, well before anything is configured in the destination. What the records actually contain, what history the business expects to keep and who decides how each structure should be handled tend to be resolved late.

Extracting data is not the same as knowing it is ready to migrate.

  • Source records may be incomplete, duplicated or inconsistently structured.
  • Historical-data requirements may not be agreed across the business and the project.
  • Mapping decisions can sit across spreadsheets, email threads and workshops.
  • Ownership for cleanup and business decisions can become unclear.
  • Implementation teams need to distinguish expected transformation from unresolved data issues.
  • Late discovery of these issues can affect implementation effort, sequencing and go-live confidence.

Working alongside your methodology

Designed to complement the implementation partner

Ledrix is not intended to replace the ERP implementation partner’s methodology, platform expertise or client relationship. It is being developed to provide a more structured layer around source-data readiness, migration decisions, workflow visibility and validation evidence.

Outcome 01

Earlier source-data visibility

Bring likely data issues and preparation requirements into view before they become late implementation problems.

Outcome 02

More accountable coordination

Make it easier to see what is waiting on the business, finance team, implementation partner or migration workflow.

Outcome 03

Traceable mapping decisions

Keep agreed handling of source structures and transformations visible for review.

Outcome 04

Clearer validation conversations

Support a more structured way to investigate differences and document what has been reviewed before go-live.

Accountability

One migration, several accountable parties

Business and finance team

Provides source access, business context, decisions and sign-off.

ERP implementation partner

Leads implementation design, destination configuration and ERP expertise.

Ledrix workflow direction

Is being developed to make readiness, actions, mapping decisions, exceptions and validation evidence easier to coordinate.

A more visible migration process should strengthen collaboration without blurring who owns the implementation, business decisions or final approval.

ERP route availability

ERP migration capability will be introduced progressively. Specific routes will depend on product readiness, platform access and each implementation’s requirements. Ledrix is not affiliated with, endorsed by or partnered with any ERP vendor.
